An advocate for women in STEM, this TV journalist and researcher is driven by knowledge and analysis. She holds a Masters in Research and Media Practice and has had special training in sprinting and volleyball!

Currently a legal associate at a law firm, Sara is the first person in her family to become a lawyer, and credits that as her proudest achievement. She believes that progress for women as a whole in society cannot be done alone. In her free time, she enjoys rollerblading and rock climbing, and thrifting for vintage and secondhand fashion.

Shien graduated top of her class in University and was awarded the Lee Kuan Yew Gold Medal on top of being on the Dean’s List. Actively involved in her grassroots, Taman Jurong Youth Network as Assistant Treasurer, Shien finds purpose in creating positive change.
