CIERRA JACKSON District of Columbia Cierra Jackson is a proud alumna of two women’s colleges, Spelman College and Yale University’s Women’s Campaign School and is the fourth of, now, eight women in her family to attend Spelman College. Selected as both a White House and Capitol Hill intern, Cierra served as the only White House intern in her class to serve the Chief of Staff’s office during the Obama Administration. This 28-year-old is also an accomplished singer who has not only worked in the White House, but has performed there too. Cierra, who has also served as a TV host, has been featured in Cosmopolitan, Essence, People and on First Lady Obama’s Instagram and service campaigns. Cierra has also served as an ambassador for two nonprofits, Running Start and She Should Run, where she encouraged and trained young women from all over the nation (and even in Iceland!) to run for political office. As Miss USA, Cierra hopes to redefine what it means to look like a politician, not just for herself, but for all women and to encourage them to lead in their communities with a servant’s heart.

MONIQUE EVANS Florida Monique Evans is a Naples, Florida native who spends her free time dancing as a professionally trained ballerina. A graduate from the University of Texas at Austin with a degree in nutritional science with a medical certificate, she uses her love of science in her career as a psychiatric-specialty pharmaceutical representative. As Miss Florida USA she has chosen the platform “Be Kind to your Mind,“ focusing on mental health and mental illness and helping others understand the difference. She believes there is a mind-body connection and daily healthy habits are key to overall health. When not making an impact in the community, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, traveling the globe, scuba diving, wakeboarding and walking her two dogs, Bear and Cub.

ALYSSA BEASLEY Georgia Raised in the Golden Isles, a coastal area of Georgia, Alyssa is a 22-year-old University of Georgia student studying health and physical education. She graduated in the Top 5 percent of her high school class and was on the Dean’s List honors in college. After completing her college degree, Alyssa aspires to be a successful female entrepreneur by opening a dance and fitness studio. She is also the Regional Director for Fusion National Dance Competition with plans to continue furthering her career with this Organization. To amplify her efforts, Alyssa created the #RiseUp: Impact Through the Arts Initiative and Scholarship Program four years ago to increase awareness about the importance the arts can have on individuals and communities, while also sharing her passion and abilities with lower-income and differently abled students that may not otherwise have the opportunity to experience the arts. In her spare time, Alyssa loves taking her four dogs on adventures, especially when they get to go to the beach.

SAMANTHA NEYLAND Hawaii The daughter of a U.S. Army Airborne Ranger Colonel, Samantha has grown up around the world and brings her unique perspective of other cultures to her work as a non-profit events producer. Dedicated to guiding others to discover and utilize their voice, she founded Time to Talk Hawaii, a program designed to help teens learn to communicate effectively and grow into confident young adults. Samantha has a successful career in the entertainment industry as an actress and model, having appeared in hit television shows on ABC, CBS and HBO as well as feature films for Sony, Lifetime and Lionsgate. She also stars in multiple ad campaigns airing across the country This 24-year-old believes in the power of community and aims to bridge the divide amongst Americans by using communication to better understand one another.

KIM LAYNE Idaho Kim is 26-years-old and graduated from Cornell University with honors in research. Currently, she studies at Washington State University pursuing a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree, and a Master of Public Health at the University of Minnesota. She is passionate about health promotion and disease prevention, has dual citizenship in The Philippines and was Miss Idaho Teen USA 2012.

OLIVIA PURA Illinois Olivia Pura attended Northwestern University, where she graduated with honors in biochemistry and Slavic languages. This fall, Olivia will begin the Biochemistry & Biophysics Ph.D. program at the University of Chicago, bringing her one step closer to her dream of becoming a professor. Though born and raised in Illinois, this 22-year-old is proud to be a first-generation Polish-American. Her favorite ways to spend time include attending concerts, scouting the best coffee shops in Chicago, and goofing off with her three younger siblings. If crowned Miss USA, Olivia will continue her advocacy for female equality in S.T.E.M. fields.

ALEXIS LETE Indiana After graduating from The George Washington University in 3.5 years with a Bachelor of Arts degree in communications and broadcast journalism, Alexis traveled overseas where she played volleyball and trained in Switzerland. After returning home, she lived in Los Angeles pursuing her dreams of acting and modeling and working towards becoming the host of a television show. Exuberant, open-minded, and confident is how she describes herself. With her "Break the Mold Tour," she gives talks inspiring others to chase their dreams and break through societal pressures. She will continue to advocate for individuality and the power that comes with it.

MORGAN KOFOID Iowa Morgan Kofoid is a 23-year-old nurse who grew up in Leon, Iowa. Morgan recently graduated with her BSN from the University of Iowa College of Nursing. She also received a minor in Physical Activity and Nutritional Sciences. After obtaining her RN license, she began working at the University of Iowa Hospital as a staff nurse in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit. She has been honored by participating in Sigma Theta Tau and the Nursing Honor’s Program and she was a teaching assistant for public speaking courses. Morgan also spent four semesters on the Student Leader Board which included supervising 70+ student volunteers at the hospital. In addition to being a nurse, Morgan works as a model and has volunteered for a number of charitable organizations. She describes herself as a fitness fanatic with a special interest in barre. She loves Jesus, sushi, elephants, traveling, and watching Iowa Hawkeye football games.

HAYDEN BRAX Kansas A senior at the University of Kansas, Hayden is passionate about serving children with disabilities. She plans to earn her Doctorate of Occupational Therapy and assist in the rehabilitation and recovery of children with disabilities. This 21-year-old is an advocate for women suffering from domestic violence both locally and abroad. She recently went on a service trip to the Kingdom of Eswatini, in order to empower and uplift vulnerable orphans. When she is not serving in the community, you’ll find her at Arrowhead stadium, cheering on her Kansas City Chiefs. As Miss USA, Hayden would continue to advocate for children in need and shine the spotlight on poverty, gender inequality and violence.

LEXIE ILES Kentucky Lexie Iles obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and a double minor in Business Administration and Mathematics from Northern Kentucky University in May 2019. When she is not crunching numbers as an accountant for Jim Beam Brands, she is helping others realize their worth - both literally through personal finances and figuratively through self-worth.

MARIAH CLAYTON Louisiana Mariah Clayton is a graduate of Southern University with a degree in psychology. She landed a full collegiate volleyball scholarship in spite of not having any offers in high school and was the captain of her Division One volleyball team for two years. She is currently pursuing her masters degree in school counseling as she aspires to be a high school counselor and volleyball coach. Mariah founded her own sports training company called “Level-Up” with the mission to develop skillfully trained volleyball players while also teaching them important life lessons through intensive camps. Off the court, she enjoys making YouTube videos that focus on encouraging women to embrace their natural beauty. When she’s not studying or creating, you can find her coaching volleyball or modeling.

JULIA VAN STEENBERGHE Maine Julia Van Steenberghe is a 21-year-old woman, passionate, tenacious, a leader who is dynamic and organized, always insightful and compassionate as she interacts with others and inspires them to do their best. Julia spent the last 3.5 years as a full time student maintaining over a 3.97 GPA while working over 30 hours a week as a youth sports coach, fitness instructor and University Admissions ambassador. Julia has always enjoyed volunteering in her local community, and was an active member of her sorority and various other academic and service honors societies such as Order of Omega and Kappa Delta Pi. She is a former Division-1 athlete, cheering for the University of Maine for three seasons. At just 20 years old, Julia moved to Italy to work as an English language teacher. She is now working as a fifth grade teacher, which she loves, and as an advocate for those that are food insecure.

TAELYR ROBINSON Maryland Taelyr Robinson is a travel enthusiast who has visited almost 20 countries and created Europe’ first interactive art museum in Barcelona, Spain. Through this experience, she realized she would like to own and operate museums in the U.S. and continue to create pop-ups in major cities around the world. Since the age of 17, Taelyr has supported herself as a full-time model. As a child of parent suffering from addiction, Taelyr would like to advocate to youth the importance of breaking the cycle through decision making. She will use her past as an example to inspire young children that they can control their future through the choices they make on a day-to-day basis.

SABRINA VICTOR Massachusetts Sabrina Victor is a performance activist, passionate about using all art forms to share diverse stories and speak to current social issues. She is a first generation Haitian-American, who recently earned bachelor degrees in Theater and Journalism, along with a Multicultural Theater Practice Certificate, and university honors. This 23-year-old works as a professional freelance actress in the New England area, and enjoys serving as a mentor and member of the creative direction team within her former high school’s fine arts program. She focuses on inspiring civic engagement through the arts, especially amongst marginalized communities with a lack of access to arts education. Currently, she works in higher education as a Human Resources specialist at Bridgewater State University, where she facilitates all part time hiring. Her journey as a naturalista signifies her dedication to embracing all forms of beauty, and she hopes to inspire others to continue embracing theirs.

CHANEL JOHNSON Michigan Chanel Johnson is a graduate of Wayne State University where she earned her degree in Criminal Justice. Chanel currently serves as a probation officer for the Michigan Department of Corrections and has combined her career, uplifting spirit and passion for youth to promote positive behavior in an effort to combat juvenile delinquency rates. This mission has taken the 26-year-old to various schools, juvenile detention centers and community organizations to enlighten youth on the impact their behavior can have on their future and society. When she is not at the office, Chanel can be found at a spin class or cycling in one of Michigan’s beautiful state parks. Chanel believes that by simply giving a little more love and positivity, you can change the trajectory of a person's life.
