maryam abdul-qawiyy.

At 38 years old, Maryam holds a master’s degree in Fine Arts from Chatham University. She’s a multimedia entrepreneur, artist, Host, TV anchor, yoga instructor and renaissance woman. As an actress, she’s a featured dancer in Spike Lee’s Oscar winning Blackkklansman. She has written and directed six original stage plays which debuted at the Belize Women in Arts showcases, the International Pittsburgh Black Arts Festival, and in Bangalore, India in 2019. As a certified yoga instructor, she taught yoga at the Belize Central Prison and Youth Hostel. She also gives back to the community as an ambassador for the Concerned Belizean Women, a nonprofit that holds fundraisers to assist disenfranchised women and children. Maryam is no stranger to pageants, in 2012 she was Queen of the Jewel’s first runner up and in 2014, she was crowned Miss Afrikan Queen. She advocates for Mental Health and managing mental wellness with mindfulness techniques.

jasmin rhamdas

Jasmin is a 27 years old Belizean, born and raised in the picturesque Garden City of Belmopan. She’s currently pursuing her degree in Forensic Science with a focus on becoming a DNA Analyst. She’s no stranger to pageantry. Her journey included titles such as Queen of the Bay Belmopan, Miss World Belize and Miss International Tropico Belize. The birth of her daughter in 2017 fueled her passion for making a positive impact in her country. Through her advocacy, Jasmin hopes to help empower mothers, and raise awareness about issues such as work life balance and parental support .

Meet Maya-Lis, at 30 years old, she’s a licensed nutritionist and thriving entrepreneur, with a Master’s Degree in Nutrition and Human Performance. She compliments this with a Bachelor Degree in Exercise Science. Beyond professional accomplishments, Maya-Lis is an inspiring figure for young women, demonstrating that dedication and education can open doors to success. As a staunch advocate for the well-being of both children and adult, she actively promotes balance nutrition, aiming to instill healthy habits for a life time. Maya-Lis champions environmental sustainability, intertwining her expertise with a commitment to a greener future.

monilee aspinall

Monilee is a 23 year old Belizean who hails from the beautiful village, St. Matthews, located on the outskirts of Belmopan. She is currently pursuing a degree in Psychology with a minor in Human Resource Management. She is also an artisan and Belizean creative who enjoys making Jewelries. Monilee advocates for Mental Health. She fills her free time volunteering with Belize Hospice Palliative Care, Haven House Belize, Port AVP and UReport.

shaenna gilharry

Shaenna is a 23 years old Belizean, born in Los Angeles California and raised in the beautiful Corozal District, Belize. She holds a Bachelor and Associates of Arts Degree in Psychology with hopes of becoming a Music Therapist. She works as a Behavioral Technician working closely with Autistic Children. She enjoys promoting a healthy lifestyle, singing and music, is learning American Sign Language and is CPR certified. Shaenna advocates for children with disabilities and hopes to spread awareness of the readily available resources in Belize while pursuing for more resources that can be applied within the school system. She hopes to bring forth many new opportunities and resources in the future to assist children using a combination of music and behavioral therapy. Shaenna is also no stranger to pageantry. She represented Belize at Miss East Indian in Trinidad and Tobago and was third runner up.

halima hoy

Halima is a 29 years old Belizean, born and raised in Port Loyola, Belize City. She’s currently pursuing her degree in Kinesiology-Allied Health. Amongst others, she’s a NASM Certified Personal Trainer and a certified pre/post natal fitness coach. Through her advocacy, Health and Fitness, Halima hopes to provide knowledge and aid to Belizeans in less fortunate situations, about the physiological issues that are common in these communities such as hypertension, heart diseases, Alzheimer’s and diabetes. As a part of her community outreach efforts, Halima is a proud sponsor of a 2 year old boy in Bangladesh providing him with medical and physical resources. Halima also donates school supplies to Grace Primary School and St. John’s Vianney Primary School . She also donates toys to Dorothy Menzies Childcare Center.

At 30 years old, Fany has established herself as a Registered Nurse. She is the first of her family to go to college . Fany has been nominated for the Daisy Award which is an internationally recognized award given to honor nurses who provides compassion and excellent clinical care. Fany enjoys working with children and has a fervent passion for Medical Missions. She hopes to use pageantry to support ongoing education of Belizean children and to further the cause of Medical Missions.

myra sibrian

Myra is a 28 year old Belizean who resides in the Capital City of Belmopan. No stranger to pageantry, Myra has several crowns under her belt. She was previously Miss Las Flores, Queen of the Bay Belmopan and later on won the National Queen of the Bay pageant. Throughout her numerous reigns, Myra has been spearheading projects to fundraise for essential groceries and collaborating with medical centers to offer complimentary health checkups to elderly individuals and families. She is an entrepreneur and operates 3 businesses as her main source of income, a nail salon, online clothing boutique, and her social media marketing/influencer business. Witnessing her grandmother’s transformation from a remarkably independent woman to someone who now relies on others for her overall well-being due to loss of vision, motivated Myra and inspired her to advocate for the well-being of the elderly.

Vivian is a 25 years old self-made entrepreneur. She is a licensed fitness trainer and Vinyasa Yoga flow teacher. She is the owner of LIV Hookah Lounge, VIVID Property Management and LIV the picnic Experience. Vivian is no stranger to pageants. She is Miss San Pedro 2023 First runner up, she competed for Miss Universe Belize in 2019, and she was Miss Teen Earth Belize 2016. Vivian sees herself as a transformational leader and advocates for women in entrepreneurship.

Mikayla is a 26 year old Belizean living in Texas. As a triple threat, she managed to establish herself as a professional model, dancer and actress. She has been published in nine professional beauty and fashion magazines and recently was featured as Miss October on the 2022 Belikin Stout Calendar. Mikayla is not only an entertainer and a creative, but she is passionate about giving back in her community . Because of her own traumatic experience as a teenager, Mikayla has become a zealous advocate of Domestic abuse and has committed herself to the mission of empowering women and youth through Teen Dating Violence Awareness and Domestic Abuse Awareness.
